100% Garnacha Blanca

Viticulture

From vines planted between 1950 and 1990, trained in bush vines, in two plots of 0.3 hectares and 0.25 hectares respectively, located in the municipality of Els Guiamets, in Baix Priorat. The soil is calcareous, with clays, dolomites, and nodules formed by gypsum, sand, and flint, which provides a strong minerality.

Production

Hand harvest. Direct pressing. Fermentation with skins in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 9 months on lees in newly used 500-liter acacia barrels with periodic stirring for 30 days. Native yeasts. Clarification and stabilization. Vinified and bottled on the estate, it rests in the bottle for 10 months before being released.

Tasting Notes

The nose exudes aromas of acacia, accentuated by notes of white flowers wrapped in a complex background of aromatic herbs and lavender. The palate is very well balanced, with firm acidity reinforcing its fruitiness and achieving an intense and silky palate. The complexity perceived in its aromas is reflected in its long finish.
