It all began in 2010. The Figuerola family was in their small workshop in the province of Barcelona, observing our first 1,000 bottles of what would become our first sparkling wine. There were no grand plans or marketing strategies. At that time, the industry talked about efficiency; we were looking for expression. And while others were chasing volume, we were pursuing verticality. So, when we tasted that first sparkling wine, we knew we had found something different: a wine that breathed the place where it was born. The revelation came when we realised that authenticity wasn't limited by geographical borders. A vineyard in Ribera del Duero spoke to us with the same honesty as our plots in the Penedès. And another winegrower in Montsant shared our obsession with purity. Then it all started, and step by step it was done.

This is how our method was born: Wine DSGn Thinking®

It's not a technique, it's a philosophy. Every collaboration stems from mutual respect between the land, the winemaker, and us. Every decision is made with the wine we want to create in mind, not the wine the market expects. We work exclusively with organic vineyards because we believe that soil diversity translates into complexity in the glass. Some follow biodynamic principles, others simply respect natural cycles. They all share our conviction: the best wine is born from collaboration with nature, not from its domination. Our plots range between 216 and 820 meters above sea level, embracing north and northeast exposures. This is no coincidence: we seek to allow each grape to develop its unique character, capturing the minerality and microclimate that saw it grow. We call our wines "slow" because they take the time to express their truth. In an industry obsessed with releasing the next vintage, we prefer to wait until each bottle is ready to tell its full story. Each label is designed as a window into the wine's origin. Each process respects ancestral times while embracing human labor. When you choose ANTIGVA, you're not buying a bottle. You're connecting with an ecosystem of people who believe wine can be transformative. Every sip is a vote for biodiversity, for regenerative agriculture, for a winemaking future free of monocultures. Fifteen years after those first 1,000 bottles, we're still the same: a group of people who believe authentic wine is born from respect, patience, and shared passion.

The question is no longer why most wines taste the same. The question is: Are you ready to taste the difference?
